• Identity Data: We collect your Name and Email ID via Google/Firebase Authentication to manage your secure account and cloud backups.
• Financial Ledger: Any income, expense, or investment entries you make are stored locally on your device.

2. SMS Processing (CRITICAL)

If you enable the "SMS Auto-Track" feature, our app reads bank-issued transactional SMS messages to help you track expenses automatically.

• Local-Only Processing: This data is parsed locally on your device. We NEVER upload the content of your SMS messages, your bank balance, or your transaction details to our servers or any third party.
• Targeted Reading: We do not read personal, private, or non-transactional messages.

3. Data Storage & Backups

• Local Storage: Your primary data lives in a private "Sandbox" on your phone, protected by Android's system security.
• Google Drive Sync: Backups are stored in a private, hidden "App Data" folder on YOUR personal Google Drive. We cannot see or access these files; only the MyPocketKharch app on your authenticated device can read them.

We use trusted partners to provide core services:

• Firebase: For secure user login and anonymous product analytics.
• Google Play: For subscription management and app updates.
